shedding some much needed light on a very abused word that targets WOLFDOG BREEDERS AND WOLFDOG OWNERS ALIKE.

Anyone on the net who aggressively pursues to defame/disparge/bully another by name.... just by their so called "opinions" seriously needs to be addressed as a abuser, not a educator, as they have negated that title for use.
Misrepresentation of the wolfdog can indeed be a killer no one doubts that. This can take many forms, not just one. If its a wolfdog regardless of content and presented as such, it can be put down in local areas that have laws to do so and the situation calls for it, in a bite situation ect... Someone may think their slightly curled tailed fido is indeed a wolfdog, well it just maybe or maybe not? But one has to know a husky is not a wolfdog, or a wolf ect..., or any other northern standard breed, mid to low content wolfdogs genes can manifest, or express themselves at will making it difficult at times to pin a exact heritage on a questioned animal. Thus.... can be indeed dangerous for the animal in certain situations as a window of doubt is left wide open, and thus the real issue..poor phenotyping by inexperienced people, or by via a pic.
A BIGGER concern for the wolfdog, and the most trendy one going on now, is this..... Alot of self appointed wolfdog experts ( THE NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN) play the let me phenotype your wolfdog/animal by a pic, of course they say this is for entertainment purpose only. THIS IS Not!!!!!!...as they are playing a carefully crafted game to all or anyone who will listen OR DANCE TO THE TUNE, that they are trying to prove their points in their knowledge as so called professionals (THEY WANT TO REALLY SHOW YOU HOW EDUCATED THEY ARE....AND THAT YOU ARE NOT) Here lies the danger....as they go around slapping labels via pics, that never truly can be authenticated, so they can boost their ego's, and the animal's fate is perhaps sealed. Is it not a shame that people make assumptions via a pic and think they have the right to put others down.
ALL THE PICS ON THIS PAGE ARE OF WOLFDOGS/HYBRIDS. IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT ONE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A SO CALLED EXPERT TO SEE THESE ARE INDEED ANIMALS WITH WOLF HERITAGE. THEY LOOK NOTHING LIKE A MALAMUTE/HUSKY/SHEPHERD.
They are notorious for befriending/luring unsuspecting wolfdog owners via social media (LIKE A ANGLER FISH) all for one purpose to cast doubt on the breeder or the animals heritage, and then pointing to their sites, BECAUSE IT IS OBVIOUS YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT LIVE AND IN COLOR, BUT THEY DO VIA YOUR PIC, then they suggest...LET ME EDUCATE YOU!!!.
This deception could be at the poor animals expense, all for their ego and lust to be right and their tactics in doing so are down right deceptive AND unethical. If you are the owner of the site they choose to target or unleash, with their...... you need to get educated stance, they then send all their friends over to harass and bash/bullying tactics with all sorts of unkind postings (and that is putting it mildly, but great with purpose....... slapping them with the term..MISREPPER )
This has been reported over and over again and a real blight in the wolfdog community under the guise of education, as they feel as self appointed educators they need to tell you what is really going on with your animal via YOUR pic. Really? Really? How incredibly bold and presumptuous, as they make themselves self appointed sheriffs of the wolfdog world, hell bent on destroying others they do not approve of or their animals (OR IF YOU QUESTION THEM,), then they label your animal... their true abuse of the term (we are not talking poodle to wolf comparison where you are stating the obvious). This is then the abuse of the word made flesh (misrepper) in their intent to label you and your animal if you dont adhere to THEIR TEACHININGS.
(CULT) Some poor owners/breeders/and even rescues have had to retain attorney's to contact these individuals via cease and desist as their activities become relentless and obsessive to hurt others under the guise of education and free flowing disparaging remarks. What they cannot control, they then become bent on trying to destroy.
What would motivate someone to do this..and why???
If a so called wolfdog professional pheno's by a pic, they are phenotyping incorrectly, they can do just as much damage or more to the wolfdog in question, as the people they are trying to label as misreppers (A common negative term used to describe someone who does not have a wolfdog,
or to cast doubt on what they claim to have said in the wolfdog's heritage, again not a poodle to wolf comparison) a huge trend perpetrated by a few groups, that is pushed all over the wolfdog community. Some that have used this term with great glee and sometimes malice/mockery as reported earlier for someone's ego in wanting to prove a point or cast doubt on someones poor animal if they dont like perhaps the person in question. Remember this is all spouted off via the view of a pic, this is were the abuse of the term happens, and the mislabeling of a wolfdog, or owner/breeder/kennel/educational group ect.
One has to ask again why..they themselves are labeling an innocent animal that they themselves accuse other of????......by irresponsibly phenotyping via a pic and spouting what they think it is, how ironic as they are misrepping themselves via the use of a label! What if they are incorrect and tell someone their animal is a lo/no content, and the new owner feels safe with the label that was just THROWN OUT THERE...., and then the animal manifest in ways that are frightening, or not prepared for by the unsuspecting owner WHAT THEN????, what happens to the animal's fate? What happens when they state that is not a Hc (high content)...and it shreds up the owners home/belongings or gets loose on the community, again not prepared to handle the animal. What then???? Who is held responsible? Do you see the FOLLY IN ALL THIS? FOOLISHNESS?????
You see, all animal control experts agree that phenotyping via a pic is in serious error and cannot be done correctly, and we are not talking AGAIN poodle to wolf comparisons either. Remember when phenotyping a wolfdog by a pic, it is just a stated opinion it is not a established fact.
Fact..... is.... phenotyping is complex and there are many factors that WEIGH in to the process of a live observation and all the nuances/mannerisms/behaviors. When organizations/groups go slapping around everyone they don't approve of/dislike or someone's particular line/animals with the title of misrepping, it then becomes a abuse of the term and a intended weapon that targets for the purpose of bad mouthing. This is never done for the good of the animals that they say they love and want to protect as lovers of the wolfdog. Intent is huge in the abuse of the term.
We understand obviously some rescues need a quick peek to figure out what they are dealing with and this is not what we am referring to. We are talking about abuse of the term used as a weapon to purposely go after others and their animals to throw out doubt and to point to them and their sites, breeders, ect.... Agenda!.
When we take our own rescues in, we do not flippantly slap a label on a animal we do have our suspects tho'. It's clear some animals may be too ill, sick, scared, ect. All this factors in the phenotyping in behavior and keen observaton of their wolf or doggy behavioral traits, not to mention overall appearance. I can tell you this..sometimes with certain animals there is a period of adjustment, and only then can there really be some shedding of light on this process.
It is clear there is a lot of people that do not agree with the misrepper labeling AGENDA, and it is a agenda... being spread all over the net like a bad venereal disease that is slapped on everyone that is not in a particular clique or group. Any intelligent person with independent thinking that sides on a conservative and responsible manner towards the animal's welfare, would never phenotype via a pic, do to these above stated concerns,
and then slap a label on some poor animals fate (again not a wolf to poodle comparison here).
As...ultimately the animal will pay the price, as it is false, misleading, and dangerous. This is via animal control professionals.
Worst of all, the wolfdog misrepper label abuse is being used like a weapon to assualt others in the wolfdog community .........with the sole purpose to cast doubt on some great wolfdogs and their breeding programs..................breeders, rescues ect.
AND THAT MY DEAR IS WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO....POINT ONLY TO A FEW....THAT BREED, SELL ECT. for their market share.
CAN YOU SAY CONFLICT OF INTEREST..........
as they point you to their INFORMATION sites, social media GROUPS, and their FRIENDS SITES WITH THEIR litters of puppies, that are of course only the best AND "REAL WOLFDOGS" FOUND ON THEIR BLOG PAGES AFTER ALL, THEY ARE ONLY TRYING TO EDUCATE YOU!..
SO.......THEY WILL TELL YOU WHERE TO ONLY FIND REAL WOLFDOGS as they bad mouth by name others, with the intent to defame/disparage without merit or fact,

and steal their pics off their websites without permission to do so....integrity RIGHT?. WOW! GREAT LEADERS!
Oh..and MIGHT I ADD, THEY have said "rescued puppies" which are secretly breed by them, they can sell you for a king's ransom......ect ect..it then becomes a insidious marketing ploy. A gross deception and if actions proved correct, a direct breaking of a law called the
SHERMAN ACT
And...for those out of the state of Texas that are engaging in such activity,

AND ALL CONSUMERS, YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS LAW AND BE VERY WARY OF SUCH CLANDESTINE BEHAVIOR,
AS THIS IS WHERE ALOT OF ACTIVITY IS OUT SOURCED FROM AND A CLEAR VIOLATION OF YOUR RIGHTS, THERFORE DEEMED ILLEGAL, AND PUNISHABLE BY THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 33, Penal Code, is amended by adding
Section 33.07 to read as follows:
Sec. 33.07. ONLINE HARASSMENT. (a) A person commits an
offense if the person uses the name or persona of another person to
create a web page on or to post one or more messages on a commercial
social networking site :
(1) without obtaining the other person’s consent; and
(2) with the intent to harm, defraud, intimidate, or
threaten any person.
(b) A person commits an offense if the person sends an
electronic mail, instant message, text message, or similar
communication that references a name, domain address, phone number,
or other item of identifying information belonging to any person:
(1) without obtaining the other person’s consent;
(2) with the intent to cause a recipient of the
communication to reasonably believe that the other person
authorized or transmitted the communication; and
(3) with the intent to harm or defraud any person.
(c) An offense under Subsection (a) is a felony of the third
degree. An offense under Subsection (b) is a Class A misdemeanor,
except that the offense is a felony of the third degree if the actor
commits the offense with the intent to solicit a response by
emergency personnel.
(d) If conduct that constitutes an offense under this
section also constitutes an offense under any other law, the actor
may be prosecuted under this section, the other law, or both.
(e) It is a defense to prosecution under this section that
the actor is any of the following entities or that the actor’s
conduct consisted solely of action taken as an employee of any of
the following entities:
(1) a commercial social networking site ;
(2) an Internet service provider;
(3) an interactive computer service, as defined by 47
U.S.C. Section 230;
(4) a telecommunications provider, as defined by
Section 51.002, Utilities Code; or
(5) a video service provider or cable service
provider, as defined by Section 66.002, Utilities Code.
(f) In this section:
(1) ” Commercial social networking site ” means any
business, organization, or other similar entity operating a website
that permits persons to become registered users for the purpose of
establishing personal relationships with other users through
direct or real-time communication with other users or the creation
of web pages or profiles available to the public or to other users.
The term does not include an electronic mail program or a message
board program.
(2) “Identifying information” has the meaning
assigned by Section 32.51.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
